Cervical and lumbar
Lumbago and Sciatica
At the Institute of Traumatology Barcelona we have been treating the spine for more than 20 years with minimally invasive treatments. Initially with Radiolysis with Radiofrequency and currently with regenerative therapies such as Growth Factors (PRP).
• Infiltrations (in consultation and surgery).
• Discolysis (herniated disc and chronic degenerative lesions).
• Rizolisis (low back pain due to osteoarthritis).
Pathologies:
• Herniated discs
• Lumbar and cervical osteoarthritis
• Cervical Whiplash
• Vertebral fractures

Growth Factors Therapy
To perform our minimally invasive therapy in the lumbar or cervical spine with Growth Factors (PRP), even though it is a totally ambulatory treatment, it is necessary to do it in the operating room, since the infiltration must be done with the fluoroscope guide (scanner), needing this procedure of a minimum sedation and local anesthesia, orally or intravenously, but always without surgery and without scalpel and on an outpatient basis.
It is a procedure that lasts about 40 minutes, after which the patient can return home by their own feet, and the next day carry out normal life without physical or sports efforts for a few days.
